Mango Immunity Lassi

mango lassi

Last week I began a 3-part Mango Series here on A Skinny Dish. Along with a deliciously healthy Coconut-crusted Tofu w/ Mango Salsa recipe post, I listed out a number of health benefits which should have convinced you to stock up on some Mangos now while they’re in season.

As I too had mentioned, summer is quickly approaching and with the blistering heat, an icy refresher is always welcomed. For those not familiar, Lassi is a popular yoghurt-based drink traditional to India & Pakistan – made either sweet or savoury. While the recipe I’m sharing today is scrumptiously sweet (my personally preferred version), it’s packed with vitamin C, natural antiseptic & antibacterial agents to help you fend off potential summer colds & flus. Enjoy slurping down part 2 of The Mango Series!
